Dr. Alissa E. Harrison is a distinguished senior executive with over 30 years of expertise in technology, education, and organizational leadership. As the Founder and Executive Technology Consultant at Enterprise Management Solutions, LLC, she provides strategic guidance to higher education institutions, nonprofits, and emerging 8(a)/WOSB government contractors, focusing on IT governance, modernization, organizational transitions, and executive coaching.

Dr. Harrison has held senior roles that bridge technology, operations, and education:

  • National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS): Directed technology transformation, managed data and AI initiatives, oversaw security, and led project, product, and services management.
  • Hampton University (VPIT/CIO): Led IT teams managing enterprise financial and HR systems, web services, help desk operations, network services, media production, and the Learning Management System.
  • Muse Technologies (Senior VP): Guided small business initiatives in change management, technology, capacity building, coaching, and leadership training.

She advocates for military families and community programs and resides in Williamsburg, VA, with her husband and family. She has three sons, one in private industry, one non-commissioned US Army and one officer in the US Marines.
